Identify and implement the nine essential diabetes care processes, including foot health, oral health, physical measurements, eye care, and smoking cessation.

Apply lifestyle and dietary modifications to diabetes care, considering cultural sensitivities.
Manage co-morbidities such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension, and high cholesterol.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
Days 4-6: Advanced Diabetes Care
Prescribe and manage oral diabetes medications, recognizing side effects and treatment considerations.
Initiate and manage GLP-1 receptor agonists and insulin therapy, understanding different insulin types and regimens.
Identify and manage diabetes-related complications, including dyslipidemia and cardiovascular risks.
